The Japanese Plum trees are now in full bloom here in Kamakura. They have these dainty little flowers which send out a delicious almost alcoholic scent which fills the air at this time. I love these trees and much prefer them to the more popular cherry blossoms as they seem to be letting us know that spring is on it's way!
